Disasterous Cup Warm-up Costs League Places
Posted by southstander on August 20 2011 - 16:48:01

Bad Injury
It was a Rhinos team without Peacock, Jones-Buchanan and Bailey who coach Mcdermott decided to rest ahead of next weeks Challenge Cup final at Wembley.

The weakened Rhinos were up against a 'Quins side without a win in Superleague since June, surely they were due a win, and what better opposition than a side with their eyes on next weeks big prize?

Victory on the other hand would put the Rhinos in with a chance of finishing the season in fourth spot, after the Giants slipped up at Saints last night.

We bring you all of the action here......

I only listened to this on the radio (thank goodness) but it sounds like it was a shocking Leeds performance with a serious injury picked up by Kallum Watkins. Hopefully we'll have a full match report from a witness at some point over the weekend.
